Would that include freedom for everyone? Or will it be the same intellectual freedom that I experienced.
"You shouldn't have a say in seminar, you're part of the white upper class male power structure."
Really?? Neither of my parents got beyond High School, I had to work my way through college and was the first of over 263 people in my family to get a college degree. Oh yeah, we're really upper class....
"Can't you male pigs see that standing too close to the Womyn's Center entrance is disempowering to real people seeking help here??"
Right on, real freedom at Evergreen. Freedom for EVERYBODY!! Not just those whom the PC Police deem the poor downtrodden group du juor.
Don't just blame the faculty and administration at TESC. Evergreen students are amongst the most incredibly hypocritical, insensitive and intolerant people you will find anywhere.
I was verbally abused at Univ. Nevada-Reno, the school I was at before Evergreen. My offense? Wearing tie-dye and participating enthusiastically in an Amnesty International Day. But the intolerance, racial stereotyping and downright hatred at TESC was far beyond anything I had ever witnessed before.
It truly is a pity that TESC censored the cartoons. It's really a shame that Evergreen doesn't practice what it preaches.
